Lattey carries out its own piling and foundation work. We can secure all consents required, and resolve obstacles to project advancement. A complete in-house, start-to-finish package.
Screw piling produces no spoil, so there’s no debris to remove from site. It also produces very little noise and zero vibration, which makes it ideal for remedial work such as seismic strengthening within existing buildings and work in urban areas sensitive to more traditional piling techniques.
Other advantages include speed of installation and reduced cost compared to bored and driven piles. Lattey can design, fabricate, install, test and provide full certification We can provide pile load capacities of up to 250 tonne in compression and tension, to depths of more than 40 metres.
We can install sheet piling to any configuration and depths to 18m with either excavator mounted or crane suspended vibratory equipment. Vibrators include “soft’ start and stop variable frequency units to minimise impact on neighbouring properties. We offer a full design and build service for any sheet piling project and hold a large stock of various sizes for either permanent or temporary works.
BRIDGE CONSTRUCTION AND MARINE WORK
From farm bridges and local body structures to caissons and marina development. Lattey provides the Port of Napier with the expertise, labour and plant to maintain their main breakwater with concrete akmons and blocks weighing up to 16 tons.
We install bored Piles for commercial building, bridge and tower crane foundations. Our Soilmec SR40 can install bored piles up to 1500mm diameter to 36m deep with larger diameters accommodated with our 46 ton excavator mounted pendulum equipment.
