A look on 2019 and prospects for 2020

As 2019 comes to a close, we take the opportunity to look at where we have been and consider which direction we want to take for the future.

The last twelve months have been extremely productive for us across all of Lattey's divisions. One of our biggest achievements is the new indoor plant dedicated to precast manufacturing and based in Levin. This 4,300 m2 facility provides protection from weather and is serviced by two 30 T gantry cranes.

We have also continued our involvement with significant infrastructure, large commercial, architectural bespoke and private projects of passion. To name but a few that we are particularly proud of:

  • Hastings opera House

  • Napier Airport

  • Punakerua House

  • NZTA Bridges

  • Mitre 10 Gisborne

  • Havelock North Booster Pump Station

The later part of the year has been very buoyant in the tender market. This leads to a very encouraging year ahead. We already have a considerable amount of projects in the pipeline and look forward to be involved with Queensgate, Toll Aotea, Mainfreight Levin, Bowen Stage 2, Higgins Napier, Heinz Watties petfood sterilisation, Royston Hospital... and the list goes on.

The future is looking good at Lattey. Our team is strong and looking forward to 2020 and the surprises it holds for us.

Wishing everyone a happy holiday season!

Mike Rabbitte
