CEO COMMENT
Bigger, better, smarter. Irongate official launch.
Lattey Group officially opened its new precast manufacturing facility at the Irongate Industrial area in Hastings.
The facility will serve as a hub for high-quality precast concrete products, civil engineering services and specialists crane hire, and will play a vital role in supporting infrastructure development projects across the region.
The grand opening was attended by key industry figures, local government officials, suppliers and project partners. It marks a significant milestone for Lattey Group as it expands its operations.
This new space is not just a building; it’s a symbol of growth and opportunity. Our investment here reflects our long-term commitment to the region, as an employer, as a civil and precast services supplier and as part of the Hawke’s Bay community.
It’s an impressive facility, spanning over 6,500 square metres. It includes a 1200-ton prestressing bed and a 1,400 square metre civil, fabrication and mechanical workshop, joinery workshop and CNC machine.
It’s also an energy-smart structure, equipped with solar power generation and energy-efficient precast curing methods to minimise environmental impact. And with a new, centralised open-plan office, it’s a better working environment for our team.
If you missed the opening, let us know and we can organise a tour of the plant.
