Adam Chambers and Tukaki Apaapa
Adam Chambers
Adam's previous role was Crane Coordinator.
He was involved finding / pricing jobs, scheduling work, management of crane operators and riggers, managing maintenance and compliance of cranes and rigging equipment, as well as individual lift planning. During this time he was also operating cranes most days of the week.
In addition to these responsibilities, Adam has now taken on the role of project manager, working alongside Plant Manager Richard Flanagan to keep precast contracts on track and within budget. As you can imagine, he has become pretty busy!
Tukaki Apaapa
Tukaki Started at Lattey Group Levin in May 2019 as a general table hand.
He had started some pre-work in BCITO concrete core skills and his potential was recognised by production foremen Pererika and Victor. He was challenged to become a qualified precaster and leading hand.
Tukaki embraced this challenge, gained his qualification, and he now runs a team producing outstanding precast concrete.
And as if that wasn't enough, he is also is set to get married this year. All the best Tukaki!
